Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
  • Monitor entry points, badge activity, and visitor movement in accordance with site policies to help support authorized access and security-related awareness.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or policy concerns in clear reports and relay relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
