As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Boonton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a company vehicle as required, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor activity, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
