About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Antioch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
