As a Security Officer Armed Driver Route Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public service agencies as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Maintain professional communication with facility personnel, visitors, and law enforcement partners while following applicable armed post orders and Allied Universal policies.
