As a Security Officer Residential Roving Patrols in Rochdale, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State security guard license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
