Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will communicate clearly with tenants and visitors while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe foot traffic, vendor activity, and/or visitor movement to help support site rules and authorized entry practices.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency personnel as needed regarding security-related issues, maintenance concerns, and incident-related updates.
