Our Residential Patrol Officer helps monitor and patrol a residential community, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will complete routine patrols, respond to resident concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support property rules and community guidelines through professional interaction and clear communication.
- Assist with routine security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and shared spaces, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
