As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Coordinator in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, observe activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location serving the public.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to post instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to appropriate staff and/or resources when needed.
Interact professionally with residents, visitors, staff, and/or public agency personnel while helping to de-escalate conflict and support order throughout the location.
