Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff interactions in a professional manner while following site protocols for restricted areas and sensitive healthcare environments.
  • Support daily operations by reporting maintenance, environmental, and security-related issues observed during patrols and assigned duties, helping to promote orderly conditions across the location.
