About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Guest Registration in Boston, Massachusetts, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. In a front-desk role, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor activity, and provide customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to communicate professionally and help maintain an orderly environment. The role is part of Allied Universal’s team-focused security services.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with access control and badges.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at the commercial real estate front desk while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor property access, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor and contractor logs according to site requirements.
Receive, screen, and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and guests while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems from the front desk to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
