About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Front Desk Driver for an aerospace and defense location in Dallas, Texas. The role welcomes visitors, manages access, supports badge and alarm-panel activities, and provides customer service while maintaining a professional, visible presence and following site procedures. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at a rate of $21.00 per hour.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where legally permitted, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, as required for driving positions and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk in accordance with site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Greet visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification, credentials, appointments, and authorization according to established protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, communications systems, and security-related equipment, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Issue and collect visitor badges, maintain accurate records, and direct guests to approved destinations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying designated contacts.
