About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Reception in El Paso, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service and professional communication to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment. The role follows site-specific procedures and access protocols and includes responding to incidents and critical situations according to established procedures.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
Monitor visitor access, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general site information, and communicate professionally with employees, guests, and Allied Universal personnel.
Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, or security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts or supervisors.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established emergency response activities and escalation procedures.
