About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception in Fontana, California, you will safeguard clients at a technology-focused corporate location by managing badge access, monitoring entry points, and helping maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, use computer or tablet systems to support access-control activities, and communicate professionally with site personnel. The role follows site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry to restricted areas.
Operate access-control systems, review alarms and alerts, maintain visitor logs, and report access irregularities or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and accurately document events.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
