About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet incoming guests, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to direct people to the appropriate destination.
  • Support access control functions by documenting visitor arrivals, issuing temporary passes when needed, and communicating with building contacts regarding appointments and/or deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and help to maintain awareness of building entry points through cameras, alarms, and other front desk systems as assigned.
