About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Reception Services professional for a residential location in Wilmington, Delaware. The role provides a front desk security presence, greeting residents and visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and delivering customer service. The officer helps maintain a welcoming and professional environment while supporting security needs with integrity and teamwork. The position pays $17.40 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Greet visitors, verify access authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests appropriately.
Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and courteously to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a welcoming residential environment.
