Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access and badges, monitor alarms and front desk activity, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, confirm identification and appointment details, and direct employees, guests, and vendors according to access protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and access documentation, and communicate clearly with building staff regarding deliveries, visitor questions, and security-related concerns.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, supporting badge and credential checks, and following post orders for restricted areas and sensitive business operations.
