As a Security Officer Concierge Reception in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity at the entry point, and support daily security-related operations. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, front desk protocols, and site-specific policies at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor information, issue access credentials, and maintain detailed front desk logs for guests, deliveries, and/or service personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support access control processes to help maintain an organized and professional front desk environment.
  • Observe cameras, alarms, and entry points from the reception area, report concerns promptly, and document security-related events in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
