As a Security Officer Reception Security in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor reception protocols, badge and access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced media and technology location.
  • Monitor the front desk area, greet employees, guests, and vendors, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and adherence to site policies.
  • Answer questions, give directions, manage sign-in processes, and coordinate with site contacts regarding deliveries, appointments, and/or access requests in a courteous, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm manner, document relevant details, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives as needed.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity, monitor access control systems and communication tools, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and other security-related matters according to post procedures.
