As a Security Officer Reception Security Coordinator in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to support access control, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and support visitor management processes in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer phones, assist tenants, guests, and property staff with inquiries, and report incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with building management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
