About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Coordinator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a financial institution location, where you will greet visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor activity at the entrance, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this customer-facing role, you will help address security-related concerns through clear communication, attention to detail, and a caring, team-oriented approach grounded in integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk protocols at a financial services location.
Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to daily activities, visitor management, and security-related events.
