Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor access according to site protocols, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and documentation practices.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Answer phones, greet guests, manage sign-in processes, and support badge and credential procedures in alignment with property guidelines and Allied Universal standards.
Prepare detailed activity and incident reports, communicate clearly with tenants and/or building staff, and maintain awareness of security-related concerns affecting the front desk area.
