Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will welcome visitors, monitor access, support security-related protocols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, visitor management protocols, and/or access control practices for a manufacturing location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue temporary badges, and direct guests according to location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate front desk logs, documenting visitor activity, and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Answer phones, assist employees and visitors with check-in questions, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and controlled entry procedures.
