About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Driver in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a residential location, you will greet residents and guests, monitor access activity, and provide professional support that helps create a welcoming environment. This is a driving post. At Allied Universal, you will bring strong communication, attention to detail, and a caring, team-focused approach while supporting security-related operations with integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor access and sign-in processes, and communicate with residents and/or property staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and building-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and general assistance, and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of lobby and entrance activity.
