As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor alarms and cameras, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and technology while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor access, and assist with badge, sign-in, and direction requests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to help support a professional and orderly environment.
