Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet visitors, verify access permissions, and direct tenants, guests, and vendors according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details to site leadership as needed.
  • Support access control functions by maintaining visitor records, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and documenting arrivals and departures.
  • Communicate with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related concerns, facility rules, and/or service requests.
