Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or credentials, manage access requests, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Answer questions, assist employees, guests, and/or vendors with directions and check-in procedures, and document front desk activity, incidents, and unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Operate front desk systems such as phones, visitor logs, badge systems, and other assigned technology while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism in a fast-paced location.
