About The Position

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
• Greet employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, verify identification and credentials, and direct arrivals according to location protocols.
• Monitor front desk activity, phones, logs, cameras, and/or alarm notifications, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support entry screening, visitor registration, badge distribution, key control, and documentation tasks that help to deter unauthorized access within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Communicate with site contacts, management, and/or first responders regarding security-related concerns, unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy questions as needed.
