Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security professional license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, front desk protocols, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting entrants, verifying credentials when required, and documenting visitor activity in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Support hotel and resort operations by answering questions, providing directions, assisting with lobby observation, and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns through proper channels.
