Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor check-in and/or access protocols, and supporting a professional arrival experience at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify credentials and/or appointments as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and reporting.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting security-related concerns.
  • Answer questions, direct employees, guests, and vendors to the appropriate destination, and communicate site policies, badge procedures, and other front desk expectations.
  • Support daily security-related operations by maintaining visitor logs, receiving deliveries as directed, monitoring cameras and/or alarm notifications from the desk, and escalating issues according to site protocols.
