About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Access Coordinator in Fort Lee, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by managing access, greeting residents and visitors, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting a positive resident experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a residential front desk.
  • Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions or general property information, and communicate resident or visitor concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor cameras, access-control systems, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns as appropriate.
