About The Position
As a Security Officer Radio Communications in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service calls to appropriate personnel using radios, telephones, and/or dispatch systems.
- Monitor communications and site activity, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and document incidents, requests, and follow-up actions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate notifications to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Support regular and random patrol operations around the facility and perimeter by tracking officer assignments, check-ins, and reported conditions.
