About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical processing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, and perimeter zones while observing for unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents.
• Support facility operations by reporting potential hazards, equipment issues, spills, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate site personnel in accordance with post instructions.
