Requirements

A New York State Security Guard License is required.
Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
