As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This role involves working as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a healthcare environment.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and helping address customer service needs while following Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
