About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations for an assigned healthcare facility site in Watertown, New York. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The position offers an opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week while retaining the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The listed shift is Wednesday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about incidents and daily activities.
