Security Officer Patrol Alarm
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will safeguard clients and support tenants, visitors, and vendors by conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring property activity, and providing customer service. The role includes responding to incidents and concerns, reporting security or maintenance issues, and completing required documentation and shift communications. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.04 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
- Report security-related concerns, maintenance hazards, and unusual conditions to site leadership.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to company and site procedures.
