As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic aerospace and defense location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify security-related concerns, and report conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and follow visitor and contractor processing procedures in support of site rules, property protection, and authorized movement throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity notes, and support investigations and/or follow-up actions related to security-related events or policy violations.
