As a Security Officer Patrol in Jonestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with location protocols.
Support loss prevention and traffic flow efforts by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-activity locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions to daily operations.
