About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Collegeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout assigned areas. Requirements

• Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and the perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report issues promptly.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and changing conditions at the location.
