Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first and act with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor site activity, observe for unauthorized access and/or policy violations, and help to deter disruptions through visible presence and routine patrol activity.
  • Complete required documentation on incidents, patrols, and security-related concerns, and communicate noteworthy information during shift changes and/or as directed by site procedures.
