As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading technology location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a large technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site protocols, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations at a data and infrastructure environment by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests from employees, contractors, and visitors.
