As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and acting with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, check inbound and outbound traffic as required by site procedures, and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or delivery activity.
Support day-to-day operations by communicating with staff, assisting with incident-related inquiries, and maintaining accurate activity logs, shift reports, and/or occurrence documentation.
