Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access-related questions, observing customer and employee activity, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns.
• Support closing and opening routines as assigned, including checking designated areas, noting maintenance or security-related issues, and communicating concerns to the appropriate personnel.
