Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or access concerns that could impact daily operations, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
  • Support access control, crowd management, and customer assistance needs during busy periods, special events, opening and closing hours, and/or other high-traffic times at the location.
