About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist Full Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to students, staff, and authorized guests as needed.
• Support a positive learning environment by observing for policy violations, unauthorized persons, and/or maintenance concerns, then communicating findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
