Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public education location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while following site protocols for access control, directional assistance, and/or screening procedures as assigned.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders when support is needed.
