As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist Lead in Hebron, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • CPR certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations.
  • Observe shipping and receiving areas for security-related issues, report suspicious behavior and/or unattended items, and follow post orders when addressing routine and emergency situations.
