About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Lead in Doral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas within a government location, documenting activities and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing clear reports, communicating with staff and visitors, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
