As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry into sensitive areas commonly found at technology and data-focused locations.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely and accurate manner.
