As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting and reporting suspicious activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry into sensitive areas commonly found at technology and data-focused locations.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in a timely and accurate manner.
