As a Security Officer Patrol Services in Odessa, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol observations, and/or operational concerns while working in industrial environments and conditions that may vary by location.
